A-0030 Apron "M.A.S.H." II/II White Canvas

This quite elaborate Apron is part of a series of history- and movie-inspired Aprons trying to capture iconic styles from the past and being made as an interesting "What if" - garment.

You're into exotic camouflage patterns or other interesting salvaged vintage materials but already have all the bags you need - or can justify to yourself or your partner ;-) ? Well maybe this is something for you. Upon demand by several German Tattoo-artists looking for Aprons in interesting or basically any camouflage patterns in general I decided to stray from my usual bags again and make some Aprons for you guys. Naturally you can use them for all kinds of applications like making BBQ, in the kitchen or working or cleaning in your workshop.

Like with all of my products, each Apron is made by me by hand and thus each is unique in little details. The same goes all the more for those made from salvaged vintage materials. Nonetheless all come with a strap around the neck and two longer ones you can comfortably tie around your waist. Also most Aprons will have a large pocket with two dividers for small stuff and pencils.

This model was inspired by the iconic TV series of "M.A.S.H", the fictionalized account of a US Army Field Hospital in the Korean War. Awash with colorful characters like the particularly "crazy" Corporal Klinger" who often wore fancy clothes, the series provided ample inspiration for an Apron that one of the characters might or might not have made for himself in that setting. The main body of this Apron was made from heavy white canvas salvaged from a dead stock German Civil Protection tent bag. There's the aforementioned large pocket and an additional smaller chest pocket, with the latter being sized for pens or a pair of (medical) scissors. The larger pocket features a short belt-loop for tools or a tape that can be opened with a vintage button. All three straps are made from lighter dead stock white canvas with the neck-strap being able to be opened and adjusted with vintage military hardware.
The backside of the Apron is lined in thin olive drab lining-fabric, dead stock from stores of a now defunct German Army supplier.
Finally there's the hand cut and -printed stencil on the front and the motto of the M.A.S.H. on TV painted on the back.
