M-0136 Messenger Bag ANA II/III in M81 Woodland and "Spec4ce" patterns
This bag uses the combination of two patterns used in Afghanistan extensively: The iconic US supplied M81 Woodland pattern and the rather notorious Hypersthealth designed "Spec4ce" Afghan Forest pattern. Especially Afghan Commando units and their US and advisors used a combination of these patterns and this bag draws inspiration from that.
The bag's main body is comprised of M81 Woodland material and the "Spec4ce" pattern, both salvaged from actual uniforms.
The 2 in wide quick adjustable carrying sling was salvaged from a seat belt and fitted with a combination of steel and plastic hardware. On the rear of the bag there's an exterior pocked closed with Velcro and intended for quick access to stuff like documents or a magazine to read.
On the front exterior there's a pencil holder and inside there are a large zippered pocket as well as a divider with another pocket and a strap with a hook for a key ring. The Bag itself is lined a Polyester Woodland material salvaged from commercial cold weather gear with the latter's former fleece liner providing additional padding here. The main flap is closed with Velcro.
On the front flap there also is Velcro and a reproduction ANA Commando Patch as often seen worn by US ODA advisors.
This elaborate Messenger Bag let's you wear one of the very modern camouflage patterns that recently became even ore infamous combined with "Godsplaid" in a combination often seen in the field until recently.
Like most bags this of course also comes with a sample sheet detailing the materials used.
